Landlord-Tenant Legal Support service offers members free legal assistance. Members will be able to meet with a lawyer who is volunteering their time pro bono. If appropriate, they will also direct you to other government resources or other nonprofit organizations that can help further your case. Our partnership is with the New York County Lawyers Association.

The following legal services are free of charge to any eligible member:

• General advice about landlord-tenant disputes
• Threat of eviction
• How to ensure repairs are done
• Pursuing a case in small claims court or New York City housing law
• Understanding legal documents such as leases or eviction notices
• Letting you know your rights as a tenant
